Editorial Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

At AdBorder, we publish articles about image editing, photography, social media content strategy, and visual storytelling. This page explains who writes our content, how we research and test the information we share, and the standards we hold ourselves to.

Who Writes Our Content

Every article on the AdBorder blog is written by Lena Park, the creator of AdBorder. Lena is a visual content creator and photographer with years of hands-on experience creating content for social media, client projects, and personal work. The articles are not outsourced to content mills or generated by AI without human oversight. Each piece reflects real experience, real testing, and real opinions.

Research and Testing Process

Before publishing any article, we follow a consistent research process. For technical topics like image formats, aspect ratios, or platform specifications, we test every claim ourselves. If an article says a specific aspect ratio works best for Instagram, that recommendation comes from actually posting content at that ratio and checking the results, not from copying someone else's blog post.

For strategy and opinion pieces, we draw on personal experience managing social media accounts, working with clients, and building AdBorder itself. When we reference data from studies or third-party sources, we link to the original research whenever possible and note when data may be outdated.

Accuracy and Updates

Social media platforms change their specs and algorithms regularly. We review published articles periodically and update them when platform specifications change, when new tools or features become available, or when reader feedback points out something that is no longer accurate. The "Last updated" date at the top of each article reflects the most recent review.

If you spot an error or outdated information in any of our articles, please let us know. We appreciate reader corrections and act on them quickly.

Tool Development Standards

The AdBorder image border tool is built using standard web technologies: HTML5 Canvas API, CSS, and JavaScript. All image processing happens locally in your browser. We never upload your images to any server, and we never collect personal data through the tool itself. The tool is tested across modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge before any new feature is released.

Advertising Disclosure

AdBorder is supported by display advertising through Google AdSense. This means you may see ads on our pages. These ads do not influence our editorial content, tool recommendations, or the features we build. We do not accept payment to recommend specific products or services in our articles. If an article ever contains affiliate links or sponsored content, we will clearly disclose that relationship at the top of the article.

Corrections Policy

When we correct a factual error in a published article, we update the content and change the "Last updated" date to reflect when the correction was made. For significant corrections, we may add a note at the bottom of the article explaining what changed and why.
